I'm starting out slow and hoping to progress into something more.  I wanted to share what I have been doing.  For the past week I have been eating a special smoothie every morning.  It is delicious and I absolutely love it.  I drink it before my morning workout, which just so happens to be as soon as I wake up.

1/2 banana (freeze the other half to use tomorrow)
1/2 cup water
handful of fresh leafy greens (I prefer spinach)
1/2  6oz. container of yogurt/ any flavor (you can also use the other half tomorrow)
1 cup frozen fruit (I prefer the mixed berry variety)
1 tablespoon ground flax seed

1. Place banana, water, and leafy greens into blender.  Pulse until fully pureed and you can no longer see chunks of the greens.
2. Add flax seed and yogurt and blend until smooth.  (Looks absolutely disgusting at this point,  just try and ignore the color.)
3. Blend in frozen fruit, acting as ice.  You may need to vary the amount of fruit you put in depending on what consistency you would like.

At this point the nasty green color should be gone.  Enjoy this delicious treat.  You don't even notice the greens or flax seed.  Don't forget you already have several of your ingredients ready for tomorrow.
